.travis & kelsey. Stevens Point, WI Stevens Point wedding photographer

Caution: Faces might melt with further viewing of this couple!  Travis and Kelsey are so HOT!  We met downtown Stevens Point and we let the wind and art making take us where we needed to go.  This engagement shoot was so fun because we really just let the light and shooting happen.  I LOVE making art this way.  Obviously I had a plan for their session and we hit the "spots" we had talked about in our meeting, but as the light changed we saw new ideas, new places and went with it!  Some of these locations I have been waiting to use until I had the "right" couple ... and oh dude, Travis and Kelsey were the right couple!  Endless smiles from them had me in full giggles as each spot created a new image that I was pumped on!  Can't wait for their big day next year.  Happy happy, Em

.meeteer family. Madison, WI Madison Portrait Photographer

Meet the Meeteer family!  Mike is one of my favorite cousins and it just so happens that they live super close to us now!  We grabbed the opportunity while their oldest son was home on summer break to take a quick family photo.  Here is a mini sample of our shoot.  Great seeing you as always!  Love you, Em

.kim & todd. Stevens Point, WI Stevens Point Wedding Photographer

Kim & Todd stole my heart with their love for hockey and their puppy!  They were a little nervous that the church wouldn't allow Haro to be a part of their ceremony, but to their lovely surprise the Pastor said, "Dogs are Gods creatures too!  Of course Haro is welcome to be a part of your ceremony."  It is so refreshing when a church is flexible and welcoming!
The ceremony was at the gorgeous Saint Stevens Church, with their reception being on the UWSP campus in the Laird room at the DUC.  What a great place to host a big event.  I highly recommend an event there as it hosts a number of great places for pictures as well!
I can't say enough about how thankful I am when a couple trusts me to make them look good in their wedding photos.  Kim and Todd gave me total freedom and let me take them around town to places that fit their style and make them and their wedding party look awesome.  I love when we show up to a weird parking lot or an old building and I can hear the wedding party whispering, "This is so weird.  Are we really going to take pictures here?"  But then they see the images, angles and creation and "POOF" they understand.
Thanks for all the fun and congrats on a lovely wedding.  Cheers, Em

.dlugi family. Madison, WI Madison Portrait Photographer

And the Dlugi family continues to grow!  Meet the newest member Mya!  It is clear she is sisters with Jaeden ... I mean look at them.  Sister for sure!  I love being a part of family days and hang out time.  Theresa and Jon invited her parents, brother and sister-in-law, and Aunt and Uncle to join in on the fun as well.  What a great opportunity to capture the family together.  Jaeden was so excited to have everyone join too ... she screamed "BAPA" and went running for Grandpa when she saw they had arrived.  Oh, if we only all had that kind of welcome when we arrived somewhere!
Thanks for the fun Dlugi family.  I truly enjoy your family and am so glad you include me in your lives.
All the best,  Em

.moore fam. Minneapolis, MN Madison Portrait Photographer

I can't believe it.  It's their 6th birthday!  Six years of photo shoots and six years of memories.  I can't believe the twins are this old.  During their first shoot, just weeks old, I thought one of them was not breathing as their face had turned a dark red/blue color.  I freaked out, threw the camera on the bed and jumped off the ladder I was standing on.  The moment I hit the floor I heard the loudest gas come from the smallest of babies.  I laughed so hard I cried!!!
Less gas this time and more smiles.  The shoots with them just keep getting better!  Thanks team Moore for the continued fun!  My husband looked over my shoulder as I was editing and said, "WOW, she looks like a little lady!"  I couldn't agree more.
Anna & Charlie, lets make a deal and slow life down a bit, for I am not ready for your senior portraits any time soon!  Much love, Em
