.being loved. Grama Reichert
What a blessing it has been to have grown up with such an awesome Grandmother. It is with a grateful heart that Grama when home last week at the age of 102. We celebrated her this last weekend. Thank you for understanding and allowing me the time to be with my family. It was clear from all the tears and laughs that we had that she had a long life and was loved deeply.
Here are some of Grams famous lines:
.Keep on Keeping on!
.Eat, Eat, Eat!
.Love you to pieces and glue you back together.
.I love you a bushel and a peck, a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck
.Love me, love my dog!
.I'm so hungry I could eat a horse and chase the driver.
.If you don't do it right the first time, when will you have time to do it over?
.Oh, Crum!
.If I only have this much room in heaven, I'll be happy.
I'm confident that Gram has more room in heaven than she could of ever imagined. I am so thankful that she was mine and that she loved us so much. Thank you for instilling love, faith, strength, and laughter into our home.
Here are some photo's from her most recent birthdays. At 102nd birthday, even though her eyes were closed she could still sing her favorite songs, tap her feet to the music and eat cake! Save me a spot Gram!

.jenny & tim. Hawyard, WI wedding photographer
Who knew that a simple bike purchase from Tim would turn into a marriage? What a great celebration of love and joy last weekend in Hayward, WI. A simple but lovely ceremony at Spider Lake Church and a big celebration at Spider Lake Lodge topped off this perfect day. What a joy it was to witness such love. Once again Over the Top Entertainment got the party rockin' and boy was there some dancing! I hope the honeymoon destination was as great as the wedding. Thanks again for all the fun. All the best, Em |

hair candy product, handmade hair accessories, fabric ideas
I just found out about this awesome product hand made by Anne Erickson called "Hair Candy." Anne makes each piece special and then sends them in the mail. Super easy and super cute!
The pieces pictured here are made by her from fabric left over from my wedding dress. I had extra from alterations (I'm short!) and didn't know what to do with the extra. I sent the fabric to her and this is what she created for me. I am in love with my new hair pieces and thought I would share. What a perfect way to reuse any fabric that is special to you. What about a bridesmaids or wedding dress, a piece of grandmas favorite shirt, or grandpa's hanky. There are some many different things you could do.
Please check out Hair Candy or call Anne to come up with your very own hair treat! www.etsy.com/shop/scherffa 651.724.7002
Thanks Anne, I love my new Hair Candy!
