I am thrilled to introduce you to Mr. & Mrs. Sorensen.  You might recognize Alexis, she was my assistant for many years until she moved to Colorado to be with Jon.  As sad as I was when she moved it was such a joy to know she was following her heart!
I was humbled when Alexis called to tell me that she was engaged and the only thing that she knew that she wanted was for me to do the photography!  What an honor to be such a big part of their day.  It was so much fun to have her on the other side of the camera too.  She shined as a bride!
Alexis and Jon had a beautiful ceremony and fantastic receptions at Smiley's in Plover, WI.  I had the best time shooting their day and am so excited for their future!  I adore you Alexis and hope Jon knows how lucky he is to have you!  Congrats on your marriage and cheers to many more years of happiness!  Love, M

Meet the brand new beautiful Miss Elliot!  Born to some of my favorite clients Chris and Kelsy in late September.  It was so awesome to meet her in person finally.  Seeing them together was a great view into my future.  Thank you for including me in this amazing time of your lives and giving me a sneak peek into what January is going to be like at the Torhorst house!  Cheers to the 3 of you.

Sean's senior portrait session took place on a beautiful Sunday evening in Stevens Point, WI.  An all around star athlete (Football, basketball, track) it made it hard not add sports into some of his images.  We however didn't make it the focus of every image and incorporated "Sean just being Sean" too.  Thanks for the fun afternoon.  All the best in your last year of High School! 

 

.miss sloane turns one. Madison portrait photographer

Check out Miss Sloane.  Turning one this month this gave Mom and Dad the perfect excuse to get some new photos taken of their little peanut.  Sloane has become such a fun spirited little girl.  Her giggle and smiles just don't stop.  I mean seriously, look at her smile.  I could hang with Sloane all day. Thanks for spending the afternoon with me girlfriend!

Meet our sweet dear niece Madeline!  Today is her first birthday and we couldn't be more in love with her.  We were super fortunate to be able to spend the weekend with her and her parents celebrating in Lake Geneva.  She has such a great personality and is full of smiles and giggles.  

There were so many fun images of her that I made a slideshow below.  Just look at her ... ADORABLE!!!  Thanks for coming to Wisconsin Maddie.  We loved celebrating with you.
