.elizabeth & clark. Minneapolis, MN

You never know where love is going to find you.  Thankfully Elizabeth & Clark went to the same Lunds grocery store one afternoon and the rest is history!  They are the kind of couple every wedding vendor wants to work with: totally in love and completely relaxed!  The day was perfect.  All focus was on being surrounded by the ones they love and celebrating what they found in each other.  Cheers to my favorite new couple, M

.julia & wayne. White Bear Lake photographer

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Erickson!  I was a little concerned when I met Wayne that he was going to be all business and very formal during the wedding.  Being called Ma'am threw me for a loop as the northern boys usually aren't that respectful!  But within seconds of turning him around to see Julia the  switch was flipped and he became ANIMATED.  I believe if the military is looking for a male model similar to the Zealander movie, they have their man.
Julia too fell right into his trap of fun ... actually we all did!  It was a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding and a fab time.  Thank you for the fun and enjoying your wedding day to the fullest with me.  I hope this images bring back fabulous memories for you for many year to come!

.jennifer & thomas. Wedding Photographer Duluth, MN

When I was meeting with Jennifer and Thomas I asked them if they had a "Theme" for their wedding.  They looked at each other and then back at me with a questioning look on their faces.  "What do you mean by a theme?" they asked.   I told them couples will often have a theme as the backdrop of a wedding.  Such as rustic elegance, nature vintage or as wild as a Great Gatsby or Harry Porter themed weddings.  They giggled and said, "Um, the theme is us getting married!"  We all laughed.  I knew right there they were going to be great to work with on their big day.  The details that were important to them were the two of them being surrounded with their family and friends.
Don't get me wrong, themes are fun and beautiful to shoot but I loved that Jennifer and Thomas stuck true to their theme of love, commitment and being surrounded by the ones you love!
Congrats and cheers to many more years!  M

.kari & david. Minneapolis, MN wedding photographer

One tap on the shoulder and the magic began!  The joy was strong with Kari and David at the Minneapolis Institute of Art the day of their wedding.  What a FANTASTIC location.  The weather was also strong, as they had to change their outdoor ceremony to be indoors.  It didn't effect their joy one bit and they had an amazing celebration inside the museum.  I loving the strong red bouquet contrasted against the neutrals of the museum.
I hope this post and the images helps you relive your day for many years to come.  Much love, M
