.jeff & jenny engagement session. Minneapolis & St. Paul wedding photographer

What an awesome pleasure it was to shoot with Jeff & Jenny.  I am always humbled when friends ask me to be their photographer.  We were given a beautiful fall afternoon with the sun popping just when we needed it to and the clouds to give us shade to give us perfect lighting.  I'm thrilled we were able to coordinate the shoot so quickly to get them a fall backdrop that they were looking for.  Happy happy joy joy is what I feel when I look at these images.  Cheers to you both and man congrats!!!  Love, Em

.ben & brooke. Stevens Point, WI Stevens Point Wedding Photographer

What a beautiful day to get married.  Ben and Brooke's day was so excellent.  The sun stayed out just until we made it to the reception and yet again we were able to get an amazing afternoon of pictures.  We are so blessed with great weather and a bride and groom that gave us loads of time to take them to awesome picture taking places.
The ceremony started at St Joseph church stevens point which hosted a great wedding.  A super fun detail that the church had was a heart dropping from the ceiling of the church.  As you can see below in two different photos, it hung over the couple during their ceremony.  What an amazing detail that I'm sure not everyone saw the day of the wedding.  Thank you St Joe's for being so awesome.  I always love your wedding ceremonies.
Cheers to Brook and Ben for a beautiful wedding day.  We had a great time finding you special places around town for your photos.  All the best, Em

And look at this... I have no idea what it means, but below it says, "EM" and "Love."  What a fun happy accident!

.ryan & emma. Wisconsin Rapids Wedding photographer

Meet my newest and cutest, Ryan and Emma.  On the most beautiful fall day they professed their love for each other in front of family and friends.  Their was so much joy that even a "spider pig" joined in on the fun.  (Ask the groom!)
It makes my job super fun when the bride and groom say, "We don't care where we go after the ceremony, just make us look good!"  So we made our way down to the river and throughout downtown back allies before heading to The Mead to celebrate with toasts, singing, and dancing.  Everyone got involved with the fun.  Check out the slideshow below to see the full day.  All the best to Ryan & Emma!

.tom & mary. Chicago, IL wedding photographer

When Tom and Mary look at each other they glow.  You can almost see sparks when they smile in the others direction.
Their big day started on Michigan Ave at the Westin where all the ladies put their best on.  We then made our way to St. Chrysotoms Church for the beautiful ceremony.  I just love the photo below of Mary in full smiles at the beginning of the ceremony.  What a gorgeous church for a wedding ceremony. After some quick pic's after the ceremony we took the party to the Casino Club.  What a fun, unique and beautiful place to have a celebration.  The toasts, food and music were perfection.  Chicago Sway got everyone dancing and having a fabulous time.  If you need a band, this crew knows what they are doing!
Thank you for the fun, laughs and joy that was shared all day.  Work hard to keep that joy going for it is infectious.  All the best and cheers to your love, Em
