Every year I donate an animal photo session for the amazing Northwoods Humane Society for their Cause Fore Paws event.  Stella and Ruby were the lucky winners of this live auction item.  What a lovely afternoon we had with the two puppies at their lake home.  Thank you Stella and Ruby.  You are such good puppies!

Within seconds of arriving at Lana & John's location I knew it was going to be a good day of shooting. Then I met Lana and John in person and it instantly turned into an AWESOME day!  Holy Moly the love vibe is strong with these two!  

I mean seriously, everything about this wedding day was "out of control" amazing.  The location was at Lana's families home on the lake in Clam Lake, WI.  The details were impeccable.    Right down to the mason jar glasses for every drink to the hand made necklaces for each bridesmaid.  Everything was perfectly picked out to match Lana's vision.  They also picked some excellent vendors as well.  Katie from In The Woods Floral and Events did the flowers that were gorgeous.  Heather from the Brick House Cafe catered the yummy food at the reception and Spicy Tie filled the air with great tunes and got everyone out on the dance floor.  Spicy Tie always rocks it! 

Now mix all the vendors together and add how amazing the couple and wedding party were and you have total perfection.  I seriously adore Lana and John.  Everyone was so easy and fun to work with that it didn't even feel like work.  It felt like we were surrounded by friends all day.

I kind of get how my clients that are parents must freak out a little as they see images of their kids growing up.  Teddi is my Sister-In-Law and I can't believe that she is now a Senior in High School.  DUDE!!!!!  She is growing up to be a gorgeous young adult and I'm getting old!  When I met Teddi my husband and I picked her up from elementary school.  Now I'm talking to her about college.  What is this world coming to?!!!!!
I'm so proud of her.  A glowing young woman coming into her own.  The world has great things for her and I'm so excited to see where she goes.
Our shoot was low key, relaxed and fun.  We followed the light around her home which made her look like a total rock star!  Thanks Teddi for trusting me with your Senior portraits.  Love you oodles, Em

.ben & brooke. Stevens Point, WI Stevens Point Wedding Photographer

What a beautiful day to get married.  Ben and Brooke's day was so excellent.  The sun stayed out just until we made it to the reception and yet again we were able to get an amazing afternoon of pictures.  We are so blessed with great weather and a bride and groom that gave us loads of time to take them to awesome picture taking places.
The ceremony started at St Joseph church stevens point which hosted a great wedding.  A super fun detail that the church had was a heart dropping from the ceiling of the church.  As you can see below in two different photos, it hung over the couple during their ceremony.  What an amazing detail that I'm sure not everyone saw the day of the wedding.  Thank you St Joe's for being so awesome.  I always love your wedding ceremonies.
