deanna, and family!

Meet baby Diana.  It was so much fun to be able to meet another baby from another one of my past couples.  I worked with Jeff and Nikki back in 2007 for their awesome wedding.  We had such a good time back then and recently had a another great time at the park with their newest family member Deanna.  What a cute girl.  This one year old stole my heart with her two little teeth and her adorable smile.  I love this trend of having past bride and grooms come back to me as their families grow!  Thank you for including me in the fun and your lives.  Also, thank you for being so patient with the computer issues we have been happening.  All fixed now and back in the groove.  I'm thrilled that you are my first past back in action.  All the best, Em

happy birthday skye, surprise kate & pete!

Oh how I love a good surprise!  While I was traveling in London in May I had the pleasure of being able to   babysit my newest friend Skye with my girlfriend Lisa.  Lisa knew that Skye's first birthday was soon approaching and she wanted to do something special for it.  

So we put our heads together, and decided while we were being super nannies we would take some pic's to  surprise Kate and Pete.  

Well, SURPRISE!  Here is a day of firsts.  The first time on the swings, a pony, and eating cake!  We love you Skye.  Happy first birthday!!!!

carlos & jamie Geneva, Switzerland

I am so excited to introduce my newest in love couple, Carlos and Jamie.  They were recently relocated for work to live in Geneva, Switzerland.  We thought it would be perfect opportunity to shoot their engagement photos in their new location as now they can share where they live with everyone they love.  They also get the added bonus of having great images of their first home and city together.  

I traveled there at the end of May and was so blown away by how beautiful and unique the location was for pictures.  Basically twenty steps from where Carlos and Jamie live there is a massive park that takes you right to the lake.  The colors and the trees where straight from a movie set.  When we got to the lake I became obsessed with the funky weird trees that lined the walking path and of course the fountain. 

This opportunity also gave me a chance to get to really know Carlos and Jamie and as well for them to get to know me and how I shoot.  This way on the wedding day they can be completely comfortable and know exactly what to expect.
Thank you Carlos and Jamie for the amazing time and being so willing to show us your city and home.  I'm so glad we were able to see some new sites together.  See you in Minneapolis for the big day soon!  Cheers to you both,  Em and Lisa

pete, kate, & skye London, England

Here are my dear friends Pate and Kate and their lovely daughter Skye.  On my way to Switzerland for an engagement shoot I had the chance to stop over in London to see my good friends once again.  The last time I was in London I was shooting Pete and Kate's wedding.  Now they have a lovely almost one year old Miss Skye.  I had an amazing time getting to know Skye as I was able to be her American Nanny for 24 hours with her Auntie Lisa.  Her giggles and cuddles are energizing and totally made my trip.

Before heading to Switzerland we had a little family session out in the woods by their house.  It was such a peaceful and lovely setting.  Who would of thought you could find this so close to London?  It was so good to see you all and getting to know lovely Skye.  I'm so blessed to have such good friends you in.  All my love, Ems
