When one of my best guy friends finds his forever sweetie ... it's kind of a big deal!
I have know Luke for over 20 years.  He is what people want in a friend.  He is generous, kind, insightful and funny.  When Anna showed up all of his best traits were heightened and we couldn't believe that he could get any better.  Thank you Anna for taking our dear friend to his next level of awesomeness.  You too are a pretty rad chick and I look forward to many years of memories and laughs.  Welcome to crew.
Side note, here are some of my favorites from their engagement session last week.  Downtown Minneapolis is their home and that is where we shot. Can't wait for your big day.  Thanks for including me during this amazing time of your lives!

.families summer 2014.

I wanted to give a massive shout out to all the families that have used me this summer to capture their growing families.  I feel so fortunate to work with such loving and fun groups of people on a weekly bases.
Admittedly I have fallen behind on my blogging as the busy season has gotten the best of me.  I did however want to share a few of my favorites from the last month.

She glowed!
From the moment I saw Janet getting ready to the end of the night on the dance floor ... SHE GLOWED!  My dear friend was floating on air and I couldn't be happier for her.  I have known Janet for 17 years and being asked to be such a big part of her and T.J's wedding was extremely special for me and a massive honor.
Their ceremony took place at St. Alphonsus Church  were it all became official.  Their pastor "knocked it out of the park" with a fabulous sermon.  To commemorate, we made our way to Wrigley field and then downtown Chicago by trolly to capture some of Chicago's fabulous sites.  We ended the day at Hotel Allegro  for their reception.
What a gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple.  I'm now glowing for the two of you as I write this.  I am just so thankful and happy for your love for each other and our friendship.

.twin cities Pride 2014.

What a fun weekend!  It was a pleasure to be a part of the 400 + vendors this year at Twin Cities Pride festival.  The rain didn't dampen our spirits or the booth.  (thank you Mr. Tent!)
