Alison and Ryan were married on a gorgeous sunny day at the end of May.  The perfect way to start off summer with a day full of love and joy.

The day started a little rough when Alison had found out her cat had used her veil as a scratching post (see slideshow).  With a quick trip to the bridal store for a new veil the crisis was diverted!  We then met to start their day for the ceremony at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, WI and moved quickly to the Botanical Gardens where more sun and joy followed us.  What a beautiful location for photos and a celebration.  The party continued with lots of laughs, cheers and dances (again see slideshow).  I am surely blessed to have such great clients and a job that allows me to be a part of such fun days.

.ellie's bat mitzvah. Chicago, IL

Here is a few of my favorites from Ellie's Bat Mitzvah over the weekend.  What a beautiful day to celebrate such a lovely young woman.  Ellie's service started at Temple Jeremiah and continued at Orbit Skate Center.  

It was so much fun to capture Ellie with her friends and family on such a big day.  The skate rink was packed with excitement, joy and sugar!  It was a truly awesome time.  

Ellie's mom Gaynor is a fellow photographer that I met at a workshop years ago.  I am so grateful for our connection, friendship and that she trusted me with such a big event.  What an honor!  She is such a gem.  No wonder Ellie is such a beautiful girl, for she has a beautiful mom.

Happy Happy JOY JOY!!!!
That is my best description for Peter and Sara.  Their joyous vibe was infectious and made their wedding day one of the most memorable I have ever shot.  Smiles upon smiles times multiple laughter had this day ridiculously fun.  It's hard for me to describe the happiness that was flowing through the day so I will let the images speak for themselves.  Don't forget to watch the video below.  Many thanks to Tim Ho for assisting and his fabulous help.

Let the celebration year begin!  Angelo and Juliana had the most fabulous engagement party to celebrate their engagement with family and friends.  The evening started with a small ceremony preformed by their pastor followed by hours of eating, drinking and DANCING!  As you can see by the images below MASSIVE fun was had by all.  If this was the kick off party I can't wait to see the wedding celebration.  Many cheers to you both and this next year.  All my love to my dear friends, Em
