gone fishin! photographer, Cable, WI

Every year I donate a portrait session to a fabulous winner for the Northwoods Humane Society fundraiser, Cause for Paws.  Kelly and Bruce were the lucky winners this year.  I have to say I didn't know what to expect when pulling into a house of 3 dogs, but just like with kids portraits ... you just capture what they will give you.
Turns out these 3 like to fish.  Countless hours are spent in the lake fishing and playing frisbee.  I adore dogs and it was such a pleasure watching these 3 play around in the water.  Thank you so much for supporting the Northwoods Humane Society!  Three cheers (or woofs) to you!!!

Andy & liz, wedding photographer, Appleton, WI

If you want to know fun and love, you MUST meet Andy and Liz!  I originally met Andy during work, as he is co owner of Over The Top Entertainment.  Over the years we continued to find ourselves working the same events and it was clear we had the same passion for our work.  Andy confirmed that we were like minded when he contacted me before Andy and Liz were engaged to see about me  shooting their wedding.
Turns out that the passion and energy that Andy puts towards work is equal to the passion and energy that he puts towards his life and relationships.  I wasn't surprised by the positive vibe and love that was glowing when I arrived at the church that Saturday.  Everyone has to be on board when Andy and Liz are "in the House!"  Their passion for life is contagious.
Thank you for letting me see your personal sides and including us in your wedding day.  I hope the images below bring back all the joy of the day.  Many many cheers to your love, Em

miss evalee, portrait photographer, Stevens Point, WI

Meet the newest love in Jason and Leigh's life, Evalee.  What a treat it was to meet this little bundle 3 weeks ago.  We spent the afternoon getting to know each other, sleeping, and eating.  A pretty normal day for a brand new baby!  Her beautiful blue eyes are amazing and I'm afraid in 16 years mom and dad are going to have their hands full!  All the best to your growing family!  Love, Em

miss aubrey, portrait photographer, Minneapolis, MN

It took a little while for Miss Aubrey to get warmed up to me, but clearly by the end we were friends!  Okay, fine ... maybe it was just the sugar rush from her first dose of sugar!  To celebrate Aubrey's first birthday we met at her house and just had a good time together.  It was an extra special shoot for Aubrey's mom is one of my first friends.  I think we have know each other for over 25 years!  DUDE!  I am so proud of you and your beautiful daughter.  Wow, have we come far!  I love Aubrey and am overjoyed that we continue to be friends.  You are loved, Em

ryan & angie, engagement photographer, Madison, WI

Meet my newest clients Ryan and Angie.  We had a lovely fall day for their engagement session in Madison, WI.  We started downtown by the capital and then drove down by lakeshore drive.  We actually went to the spot where Ryan asked Angie to marry her on Picnic Point.  Turns out in college I used to run and sit out on the very same tree that they were engaged on.  So fun!
It was so lovely getting to know the two of you and I am thrilled about your big day next year.  We are going to have a great time.  I'm ecstatic about capturing your celebration.  All the best to you both this holiday season.  Em

peter & andrea, wedding photography, Milwaukee, WI

WOWZAAS!  Peter and Andrea's November wedding was gorgeous and a perfect way to start the month.  The light in Milwaukee that day was out of control awesome.  We drove from Menomonee Falls where the ceremony was to Wauwatosa where their reception took place at the Milwaukee County Zoo.  Our drive was perfect as it gave us outstanding spots to stop and capture this lovely couple and there wedding party enjoying the day!  I'm so glad that they followed my crazy lead and went with my random spots and side of the road detours.  The trust paid off.  All the best to you both.  We had a blast with you on your big day.  Em
