I am thrilled to introduce you to Mr. & Mrs. Sorensen.  You might recognize Alexis, she was my assistant for many years until she moved to Colorado to be with Jon.  As sad as I was when she moved it was such a joy to know she was following her heart!
I was humbled when Alexis called to tell me that she was engaged and the only thing that she knew that she wanted was for me to do the photography!  What an honor to be such a big part of their day.  It was so much fun to have her on the other side of the camera too.  She shined as a bride!
Alexis and Jon had a beautiful ceremony and fantastic receptions at Smiley's in Plover, WI.  I had the best time shooting their day and am so excited for their future!  I adore you Alexis and hope Jon knows how lucky he is to have you!  Congrats on your marriage and cheers to many more years of happiness!  Love, M

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To top off the night Jon planned a flash mob with all this family and friends to surprise alexis!  What a fantastic way to start the dancing party!

Rich & Kaylee proved you don't need the sun to make your wedding day fabulous.  

They were up for anything and had no problem joining me outside and making do with what nature had to offer.  We found some great spots in between the church and the ceremony and the rain and wind held off just long enough to make being outside possible!  The joy that they shared for each other and their families made it easy to capture their smiles in any kind of weather.

A gorgeous celebration for a gorgeous couple.  Bill and Sarena had their ceremony in the beautiful Saint Stephens in Stevens Point, WI.  Saint Stephens is such a wonderful church located right downtown.  After the ceremony we made our way just with Bill and Sarena to Waupaca, WI where the real fun started!  The travel time was perfect as it gave them some private time as well as a relaxed atmosphere to snap some lovely images of just the two of them together.  I can't say enough about couples taking the time to have moments for themselves on their wedding days.  It can really make a big difference.
Upon arrival at the reception a massive celebration started and everyone relaxed and put their hair down.  Corinne with Canvas Weddings  had everything set perfectly and Spice Tie Band had everyone on the dance floor and they rocked "the tent" as usual!
Bill and Sarena were total rock stars on their big day.  Completely themselves, completely candid and completely in love.  Thank you for being yourselves and trusting me with your big day.  I am so thrilled for you both.  Many many cheers!  Em
