Sterling Flower Jewelry
I worked with my newest client today Michelle Moss from "The Sterling Flower." Michelle needed some new pictures taken for her new designs for this spring and summer art shows.
Michelle designs and sells hand made jewelry in Plover, WI. Her pieces are amazing and absolutely beautiful. She works with a lot of unique stones and clasps that I loved.
If you are looking for a special piece for a gift or for yourself don't hesitate to give Michelle a call. And for that bride that is looking for something a bit different, Michelle could be that perfect person to get you your unique bracelet or necklace to match your style to your wedding dress!
You can reach Michelle at 715.342.6869
Thanks Michelle for trusting me with your art! I had a blast!

happy birthday mike!!!
Many may ask, "What does one do to celebrate one's birthday in the middle of the winter in the northern Mid West?" Well, Mike Williams has figured it out ... WE Go Curling!!!
To celebrate Mike's new year a group of us got together to partake in the fun sport of curling at the local Stevens Point Curling Club.
You may ask, "What is curling?" Good question.
In basic terms it is shuffle board with big rocks ("stones" is the pro term) on a sheet of ice. To start, you push your body off the starting position to get momentum for your body and stone. While moving, you let go of your stone with great ease in hopes that it makes it to the other end where the bulls-eye is waiting! Depending on where your stone lands your team can gain points. You can also help your stone along by "sweeping" in front of it as it makes it's way down the ice. (see picture below)
Not the easiest thing we have ever done, but loads of fun while we tried.

sweetheart dance '07
The Central Wisconsin Children's Museum held their annual family sweetheart dance this last weekend. I was honored to be able to volunteer this year for this incredible event as their photographer. What a great place for parents to take their kids for a little food, fun, crafts, fun games, and of course dancing. Not only did they have a great d.j. getting everyone in the mood on the dance floor (Jesse Schultz from "Entertainment at Last") but the Point Dance Ensemble did a short performance from Alice in Wonderland. The kids were mesmerized by the characters. They wouldn't take their eyes off them!
Here are some pictures of the evening. Thanks again for letting me be a part of the evening.
It was great seeing everyone celebrating their sweethearts!!!
To view all the pictures from the event go to www.pictage.com All proceeds will go to the museum.
Happy Valentine's week,
Em

introducing mr. Luke Horton
It was a great honor to be introduced to my newest friend on the 5th day of his life, Luke Horton. He is blessed to have two of the coolest parents around, my good friends, Wendy and Tim. I must say that Luke was a trooper during our session. He had just come home from the hospital and was just getting used to being home. But that is the nice thing about infant shoots ... they direct the show, not me! We just take our time, get to know each other, and the rest is magic!
Luke is the tiniest baby that I have seen in person! In some ways his skin is too big for his little body. This gives him the best wrinkles. Those wont last long though, for golf, soccer, and hockey seasons are just around the corner for him! (Right Tim!)
His favorite, like most babies, is to be wrapped in his favorite new blanky, like a burrito. A burrito bundle! Hey, that could be a great Halloween costume for a new born.
Thanks for letting me welcome you home little burrito!
God Bless your little body, Em
