ty & theresa "Day After Session" in Alaska
Ty and Theresa hired me all the way from Anchorage, Alaska to shoot their "Day After Session." You might be thinking, "What is a Day After Session?"
Day After Sessions are when a Bride and Groom get dressed in the their best, a day or several days after their wedding for a photo shoot. There are many reasons why a Day After Shoot might be something to add to your wedding package. Timing and creativity are the two main reasons why these sessions are such a great idea. If you aren't able to schedule enough time for just you and your sweetie on your big day because of the ceremony and reception times or maybe that awesome location is just too far away, a Day After Sessions can cure your worries! Or if you can't afford your favorite photographer for your whole day, get a day after session for a fraction of the cost and still get amazing images of you and your sweetie. (Men ... great gift for your new bride!!!)
Back to Ty and Theresa. I had a great time with you. Thank you for showing me your favorite spots in and around Anchorage. Here is another example of not all being lost if it is raining on your day or if it is cloudy. The first part of our session started in and around the Anchorage airport because of the rain. Then when the skies cleared we headed outdoors to really find some Alaska backdrops. And wow, it just kept getting better and better as we drove down the highway. Amazing! Almost "Lord of the Rings" meets "007" look coming at you as they stood on the mountain top and in the big ocean drain! What fabulous locations.
Don't forget to watch the slide show below to see the full session. Cheers to Ty and Theresa. Thank you for all the fun. Em
