Meet my newest favorite couple John & Amanda.  Everything about this day was perfect, especially John and Amanda's love for each other.  The weather was exceptional for a fall day in Wisconsin.  Not too cold, not too hot.  The wedding party was a hoot to work with and LOVE was in the air.  What more do you need?  Nothing!  I will say that the time that John and Amanda gave us to work helped out in a big way too!  They gave us plenty of time to go around to a number of spots to suit what they were looking for in their pictures.  Having plenty of time always helps in keeping things fun and relaxed.
Keeping with their fun vibe, Andy, from Over the Top Entertainment sealed the evening with a total jam session!  The slideshow says it all.  People were grooving and shaking their booties all night!
Thank you John and Amanda for such a great work day.  When you work with such fun people it doesn't even seem like work because it feels like you are having fun with your friends!  Continued love an happiness to you both!  Cheers, Em

 

.millar family. Stevens Point Portrait Photography

I met up with the Millar's to capture their family as well as Sloane's 2 year photos.  Sloane is such a cutie.  She has so many little faces and her personality is shining bright.  Of course her favorite new "puppy" had to join in the session as well.  At 2, we didn't argue with puppy joining as long as Sloane was happy!  Thank you for letting me capture Sloane growing up.  She is adorable!

 

Dad would be proud.  Already pointing out buck rubs.  

To keep with the tradition from last year we popped Sloane in her mom's wedding dress.  I just love this little face that she is making!

            It took the Casey boys a little bit to warm up, see next photo, but once they decided to like me these two became total HAM BONES!!!  I love the first photo because it is true and how kids are sometimes!  It totally reminds me of growing up and some family photos we have!  The middle pictures of the boys laughing are just perfect.  But the last picture is ... priceless!  Serious, no one could keep their tongue inside their mouth!  Thanks for the love Casey fam!  Cheers to many more years.  Em

 

.amy & ryan. Milwaukee & Wisconsin Rapids, WI Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

Happy days x 2 = Joy Joy Joy!
For the couple that wants the best of both worlds, this is an idea for you.  Amy & Ryan were married in Milwaukee at the court house in a beautiful private service with their two best friends.  They wanted it to be mellow, simple, easy and joy filled.  They got exactly what they were looking for!  After the judge made it official we cruised around Milwaukee to capture their joy in their favorite city.  This was the absolute best.  It gave them great images in great locations under no stress, just fun.  They then went back to their house and had a small picnic in the backyard.
A few months later they had a church ceremony in Wisconsin Rapids to celebrate their commitment to each other with their families present.  For a second time they had a beautiful day and great locations for pictures.  The reception that they held for family and friends was the best part.  Amy worked tirelessly to create an art gallery of images from their wedding day in Milwaukee to share with everyone.  Her design and detail was awesome as she totally made the Ridges into an art gallery.  It was their way of bringing some of their favorite pieces of Milwaukee to Wisconsin Rapids.  Watch the slideshow at the end to see the best of both days.
